CAMPUS UPDATES-   

*Attn. Senior Class – Herff Jones will be on Wednesday, November 29th from 10:30 am -1:00 pm in the RHS College/Career Center accepting your orders for the Class of 2018 Graduation Announcements, Accessories, Class Rings and Grad Gear. Remember that a down payment of $85 for your graduation order and if ordering a class ring another $85 deposit is required. Grad Gear will be delivered when you order at school. This will be the final “in-school” ordering opportunity this fall.

Take note that Vassar Homework Club is starting up next week and will be held again this year on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school at Vassar Elementary down the street from 3:30 - 4:00. Help second and third graders with basic math and reading skills and gain easy volunteer hours. Please see Mr. Sladek in the Social Studies office if you are interested!!"

Campus Update:

" The Library will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday morning from 7am- 12 due to SAT and ASVAB testing.  We will reopen after lunch.  Please plan ahead if you need to do any printing or other work as you will not have access to the Library at all during testing."

On Saturday, November 4th to raise money for our Wish Kid, Rangeview will be hosting its first ever Wish-A-Thon. Please help us raise money and come walk around the track as an individual or team. It is $10 per individual or $40 for a team of 5. Please get a waiver from the front office, but there will also be the day of registration as well. The walk starts at 9 and registration begins at 8. We hope to see you there!

Halloween Dress Up Day (10/30):

Are you excited for Halloween? Donate a dollar to Make-A-Wish to get a wristband and wear your costume all day long! Want a sugar fix? Donate $2 and you can wear your costume and get a bag of candy. Check the school website for costume specifications. Thank you!

CUPS is a pre-collegiate academic enrichment program designed to motivate first-generation college bound students who are interested in healthcare or STEM related careers.

Please sign up to attend one of the following information meetings with your counselor that will be held today at 9:30 am or tomorrow at 1:30 pm.

CAMPUS UPDATES-  

*Attention all Rangeview students, the weight room is open after school from 3:30-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Coach Emmer and Coach Hamilton would love to see any and all students that are not involved in a after school activity.

*There is the next Accuplacer Test on Wednesday September 27th in room 133 at 9:30 in the morning. The deadline to sign up for the test is tomorrow. Students must sign up for the test at least one week in advance.

*Students, we will be awarding 50 homecoming points to the class that has the highest attendance each week leading up to homecoming. Congratulations to the seniors for leading the pack and having the highest attendance again last week at 96%. You all earn 50 homecoming points! The freshman, sophomores, and juniors all tied at 93%.

*Students:  Our first early release day is this Friday, September 1st.  There will be no ROTC classes on early release days.  For students who have Pickens classes; they will alternate between early release, am classes and late start pm classes.  This Friday, Pickens will be on an early release am classes schedule.  Transportation will pick up and drop off at Rangeview at regular Pickens schedule times.  Also, students should attend off-campus CCA classes as regularly scheduled.
