President's Service Volunteers Awards

President's Volunteer Service AwardAugust 5, 2011

Dear Volunteer:

We are pleased to announce our participation in the President’s Volunteer Service Award program as a Certifying Organization.

This new Award is a Presidential honor that recognizes the valuable contributions of volunteers nationwide who are answering President Barack Obama’s call to serve others through their current volunteer activities. As a Certifying Organization, we will identify eligible recipients, verify their service hours, and distribute the Award to outstanding volunteers.

To qualify, volunteers simply submit a record of their service hours by logging on to the President’s Volunteer Service Award web page (http://www.presidentialserviceawards.gov/).  The site can be accessed through a link on the Rangeview High School web page.  Be sure to insert Rangeview’s record of service key code listed below on your profile screen.  Rangeview will verify the volunteer hours and distribute the Award.

Service hours can be accumulated through work on a variety of projects throughout the year. The only requirement is that the hours be completed within your 4 years at Rangeview; recipients will be given the AWARD at the end of their senior year.

To be eligible to receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award,
applicants’ service hours must be confirmed by Rangeview.

There are three levels of the Award varying by hours of service completed:

Young Adults - Ages 15 - 25

  • Bronze Award    100-174 hours
  • Silver Award     175 - 249 hours
  • Gold Award      250 or more hours

Rangeview’s record of service key is:
