Re: Principal Selection Process
Greetings, Rangeview Families—
It’s hard to believe the 1st quarter of the school year has come to a close! Rangeview students have worked incredibly hard alongside their teachers and much has been accomplished in the first ten weeks of the year. We are proud of the work that has been done in the first quarter to create a strong learning environment for students as we seek to build on Rangeview’s long standing tradition of excellence. We’re excited for the coming quarter and all the opportunities that it brings!
With commitment to the Rangeview community in mind, we have a critical decision in front of us this fall. Last May, our Superintendent recommended the interim placement of Lisa Grosz as the principal at Rangeview for the 2019-2020 school year. We shared at that time that a more formalized process would take place no later than November and that Rangeview stakeholders would have the opportunity to provide feedback regarding the Superintendent’s selection of the principal who will lead Rangeview into the future.
Every stakeholder will have opportunities to participate in the feedback process either via an online survey or an in-person feedback session. The timeline for the process is as follows:
I am honored to have the chance to be a part of this experience with you in a collaborative effort to identify and recommend the principal candidate who will lead Rangeview’s charge moving forward. Students, families, and community stakeholders will receive communication regarding this process, as well, and will have invitations to participate in various ways.
Please do not hesitate to be in touch with any questions you have regarding this information. I will be in touch with you in just a few short weeks to launch the process. I am looking forward to getting to know you and the Rangeview community better as we identify Rangeview’s ongoing leader!
